Meet Annie & Ian

Two explorers. One shared passion.

We're Annie and Ian — a husband and wife team from Southern California with a passion for adventure, exceptional food, and discovering what makes every corner of the world uniquely beautiful.


Ian grew up in San Diego and has always been drawn to the outdoors. From viewing the Himalayan peaks in Nepal, hiking through Switzerland, exploring underground tunnels in New Zealand, or surfing in Nicaragua and Indonesia, he has always sought experiences that push him beyond the familiar.


Annie grew up among the beach cities of Los Angeles. She has always been drawn to the details that make a destination unforgettable — a meal that tells the story of a place, a neighborhood that no guidebook could ever fully capture. From the street food markets of Thailand to the colorful streets of Colombia and the distinctive hotels of Europe, she brings a discerning eye for culture, connection, and genuine hospitality to every journey she plans.

How It Began

Born from a love of the journey itself

Long before Boundless Pursuit existed, we were the friends planning the group trips, researching the hidden restaurants, and finding the routes that took us somewhere unexpected. We realized that unforgettable journeys rarely happen by accident. They are built through thoughtful planning, local insight, and a willingness to look beyond the obvious. What began as a personal passion, evolved into a planning philosophy.

Our travels have created memories that continue to shape us — from dancing in Cuba and exploring life along the Mekong River in Vietnam and Cambodia to hiking glaciers in Patagonia. We chose to celebrate our marriage in Costa Rica, bringing together friends and family for a destination experience that reflected our shared love of travel. Those experiences reinforced a simple belief: the most meaningful travel experiences are the ones that immerse you in a destination and stay with you long after you return home. That belief became Boundless Pursuit.

From hole-in-the-wall kitchens and street food markets to candlelit speakeasies and curated wine experiences — we are unapologetic foodies. If there's a secret door, a natural wine list, or a tasting menu worth talking about, we'll find it.
Dustin, Our Dog
Every great adventure needs a loyal companion. Dustin reminds us daily that joy is found in the simple things — and that no matter how far we roam, home is where the heart is.

We've built a community of people who show up for each other — the kind of friends who become family over time. That sense of connection is something we try to bring to every client relationship too.
